Stayed there early 2008 during a backpacking tour - superb. Clean, friendly, cheap, quiet, and opposite a washerette; great for those mucky clothes in your rucksack. They (Marani hostal )let us leave our gear there when we went on to Machu piccu. Great service, and highly recommended.

During our (first) trip to Peru in september 2008, hostal Marani was our safe base between our excursions to Machu Picchu, Manu rainforest and Secret Valley. Marani is a really lovely place to stay and perfect to take some rest on the patio before the next excursion. Situated close to Cuzco's centre we liked Marani and the service of the staff a lot. We trully felt in love with Cuzco, and hope to be back soon!!

I have stayed her twice. Once in 2002 and with a group in 2003. I loved my stay on both occasions. Rooms are clean. I feel very safe there and the hospitality is marvelous. It is located in a quiet part of town but close just a short walk downhill to the Plaza. I highly recommend.

Hostel Marani is een prima hotel, de kamers liggen rond een sfeervolle binnenplaats. De staf is erg hulpvaardig! |En verder is het hotel een uitstekende basis om Cusco te verkennen. Het Plaza de Armas ligt op loop afstand, via gezeliige winkelstraatjes loop je zo het centrum in.
Kortom een aanrader!

Wij hebben de laatste week van juni 2008 in Hostal Maraní gelogeerd, met veel genoegen. Wij hebben aardig wat Peru-ervaring, maar het is altijd prettig een "veilige haven" te kunnen ervaren. Bovendien is het hostal veel gemoedelijker/gezelliger dan de grotere hotels. De Maraní-medewerkers is niets te veel. Ook de tips naar restaurantjes en leuke plekjes zijn waardevol. We genoten van de ruime kamers, de warme douches, de goede bedden, het heerlijke ontbijt, en de zonnige patio.

Great experience with Marani. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Even arranged a last minute tour/train tickets to Machu Picchu when everything was closed. The company we originally purchased our tickets from never sent them. Without your help we wouldn't have made it to Machu Picchu. The rooms were comfortable and clean. I can't say enough about how warm & welcoming the entire staff was. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in with you in the beautiful San Blas neighborhood. Hello to all and thank you for the wonderful stay. Marani was very clean, HOT water always, and the location in San Blas was perfect. We loved all the art shops and restaurants near by. The staff was pleasant. The blankets on the beds were thick and cozy, no need for the heater even in your winter. Thanks!
